Our Accomodation

The campsite at Camusdarach opens from the 1st April to the 15th September, offers superb panoramic views of the islands and is sheltered by many large, mature trees.

To make tent pitching easy, all 12 non-electric Tent Bay pitches have grass mats, each with a minimum of 72m sq. of space. The maximum tent size permitted is 6 man and all pitches accomodate a maximum of 6 people.

The Top Field Tent pitching area has been divided into 3 areas, named after the Islands: Skye, Canna, and Eigg – to view the site map please click here.

We also have 18 Hard Standing pitches for campervans and caravans which have Electric Hookups as standard and all of which include 4m of grass for awnings. Of these, 8 are located in the Facilities Field, with Mountain Views, and the rest on the Top Field with Sea Views

In addition there are 4 large Electric Hookup grass pitches in the Facilities Field for tents. All electric pitches also have a maximum occupancy of 6 people.

It is always advisable to book a pitch, particularly during peak periods.

Free WIFI covers the site and if you’re not using an electric hook up we can charge phones, cameras etc. for you during Reception hours (9am – 7pm) – you might be surprised at how many photos you find yourself taking when you’re here!

As we get plenty of warm weather and sunshine (really we do), you can chill freezer blocks in the Laundry area of the facilities block.

The site has an immaculate, modern toilet and shower block, which includes a laundry with washing and drying machines, washing-up areas and facilities for the disabled and babies. A separate disposal point is available for chemical toilet waste.

The whole estate is geared towards using the land sympathetically and sustainably so Grey water from the shower-block is treated by a series of reed-beds which detoxify the outflow water preventing any contamination of the surrounding land. This provides an eco-friendly solution to waste disposal.
